Relay Races at the Park

Today was a wonderful day. The four younger zildren and I went to the library to the story time and arts and crafts time after that. After that we met up with the older 3 zildren who had been practicing their typing at our new home school teacher's house. They found a good deal and brought corn dogs, chips and sodas. The zildren enjoyed the geese and ducks coming up to them begging for some chips and our teacher friend, Mrs. Holmes, showed them how to take their left over crusts from the corn dogs off of their sticks and give it to the ducks and geese.

When everyone had finished up with their food the games began. The children were paired off to have some different races: hopping skipping, relay and obstacle course. Each one was great fun and rewarding because Mrs. Holmes, brought some chocolates and candies to reward the winners with.

I got tired but the pain wasn't bad. God is so good! I've been doing some theraband exercises every morning and other exercises through out the day to keep me more flexible. I do have pain through the day and a lot at night when I am trying to sleep but I am enjoying the improvements.

Crazy face I had on that one!

Funny Faces!

"Not yet Mom, we aren't ready."

Mid air skip!

This relay didn't happen.

Looks like the children had a wonderful time. I thought you were one of the children until I counted "8" people, lol.
