Remodeling the Kitchen For a Large Family

This Christmas I got a wonderful present from my sweet husband. He started the remodel of our kitchen and also has plans to remodel our laundry room. We were cramped at the dining table because of our island so the first thing we did was to remove that old thing and my wonderful children helped to accomplish that for us!

Zeke did the majority of the knock down work. He loved it!
Once we got that done we found a place to install our sink because the sink and dishwasher were in the island! My husband had to run the wires from the dishwasher back under the house and the pipes from the plumbing as well, cut and cap then patch the floor where it had been. Later we plan to put new flooring but not right now.

Plumbing and wiring.
I'm so happy with my new sink area!

The next things are going to be upper cabinets in another part of the kitchen; also a panel for under the dishwasher. I'm so excited!

I hope everyone's Christmas holidays were great! Don't forget to check out our items on ebay!

What To Do With Fake Flowers!

Often in my new line of work, I come across fake flowers and I just love it when I do! They are so fun to use in all kinds of ways.

1. The very first thing that I do when I get them is to wash them. The easiest way to do that is to put them into the top rack of the dish washer and push them down good so that they are secure. After you wash them make sure you check the bottom of the dish washer to make sure nothing was left behind. I suppose you could do the same thing in the washing machine just eliminate the spin cycle. This I haven't tried yet; let me know if you have tried this and how it works for you.

2. Next dream up or be inspired by a project! Here is a board that I made from Pinterest! I started with easy flower pens and added so many many more that looked so fun! I hope this inspires you to create something fun and useful!
