Easy Crock Pot Chicken Pasta

This is a meal easy enough that you can cook this without having any prior cooking experience.  This is a good recipe for a single person or a large family because a single person can eat a little every day or every other day and a large family can get full.

Thawed Chicken (or even left over chicken nuggets or tenders)
Tomato Sauce in a jar or can Alfredo sauce you choose (or make your own)
Wheat or whatever kind of pasta you want to use (I like whole wheat or something with whole grain in it or low glycemic, they even have vegetable noodles)
Seasonings you like with Italian food or an Italian blend
*Apple Cider Vinegar (optional, it helps balance the wheat flavor)
*bread for toast
Parmesan Cheese to taste

1. Place some chicken in the bottom of your crock pot. {I just use legs and thighs but it would work with breast meat and chicken tenders also but if you do it with cooked meat just leave it on a warm setting not a hot one.} If you use meat with bones and skin you will need to fish out the bones and skin before serving with a noodle spoon or a pair of tongs, being careful not to burn yourself. It is better to unplug your machine and allow it to cool when doing this.

2. Open your sauce and pour it over the chicken or hold it until afterwards and drain your chicken meat. Some people don't want the chicken juices in their sauce.

3. Turn your pot on for 4 hours. (Plan ahead as to what meal you want it to be for)

4. When you are about finished cooking your chicken mixture start your pasta water to boil. Cook your pasta according to the directions on the bag.

5. Toast your bread; add some garlic and sea salt and you are ready to top your pasta with chicken and sauce. (if you have bones in your pasta you can just fork the meat out and spoon the sauce on, remove as stated in number 1. you could also prepare the meat without the sauce and remove bones then add your sauce.)

6. Sprinkle on some Parmesan Cheese if you wish and serve.
