Recently I have started trying to encorporate more alkaline foods and drinks into my diet. If you haven't noticed there has been many reports that alkalizing your body improves your chances of resisting disease and improves your over all state of health. Apple cider Vinegar with the mother still in it (this is important) has just this effect on the body. Even though ACV is acidic in nature the digested form of ACV is alkaline so therefore has great help for your body! If the taste bothers you, you can also add molasses or honey to the mixture to lighten it up a bit. The molasses can be benifical to your dailey routine because it has minerals that you body needs and if you buy local pure honey then you can benefit from the antibiotic properties of the honey as well. But if all you can do for right now is drink the ACV I would suggest that you put it into at least a 10 oz. cup because 8oz makes for a pretty strong sour taste the more water the better if you ask me! Don't forget to shake so that you get some of the health benefits of the mother in each dose.
You can do more up to a tablespoon of vinegar a day in your water but I already use vinegar in my salads and other cooking so I am happy with the results that I am getting from the tsp. or cap in the morning and cap at night. I am using the Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar from our local grocery store and I am pleased to report that after about 2 weeks of following the program more of less, I can tell that it gives me a little more energy and that my allergies are reduced when I use it. I noticed the allergy thing one day whenever I forgot to drink my morning cup. Then when I did the allergies started to be relieved.
