Simple, Healthier, Peach Cobbler

We had this very larg can of peaches given to us so I decided to make some of them into a cobbler. I
took a great Paula Dean recipe from the internet and made it simpler yet with the same effect and healthier.

About 2 cans of sliced peaches with syrup (you need about 1 cup of syrup)
1 cup of honey
1 stick of butter (preferable from grass fed cows)
1 1/2 cups of flour with 1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 cups of kefir grains (optional)
1 1/2 cups of milk or milk substitute
Ground cinnamon

Place a stick of butter in a large casserole pan in your oven set at 350 degrees.  Then wisk together the flour mixture, honey, milk and kefir grains. Pour this mixture over the melted butter then spoon your peaches in over the batter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Take out of the oven and sprinkle some left over homemade granola cereal over the top and allow to sit for a few minutes before eating. Yummola! This took me all of about 10 minutes total to whip this up minus the baking time. So easy. If you try this please let me know in the comments.
