Left Over Pancake Batter

Have you ever had left over pancake batter and just didn't feel like having pan cakes twice in a row?  Well I did and I decided to see if this batter would work for making funnel cakes and surprise, it did!
Here's what you do. Just stir up your batter and grab a large spoon scoop up some batter and let it swirl into the hot frying oil of your choice until your spoon is empty or scoop up some more depending on how big around you want your funnel cakes to be. You can also use a funnel for doing this or a large icing tip. The spoon is just a lot less time consuming and less messy. Try it sometime I think you will be pleasantly surprised. You can top them off with some powdered sugar or top with syrup or even honey. Then again if you already had sugar in your pancake recipe then you really don't have to have all of the toppings if you don't feel like it.

What can be done about Age Spots

A blogging friend of mine was interested in what could be done for age spots. Age spots result from too much sun exposure and sometimes are referred to as liver spots. They are over aging of the skin. You should consult your doctor if you spots change in shape or appearance.
Here is a list of supplements and natural health care  that you can use to help lighten or remove these spots:

1.  Aloe Vera Gel or juice from Natures Sunshine rubbed onto the area for at least two months.

2.  Cut open a garlic gel cap and rub it onto the area twice a day for 6 to 8 weeks (do not use on sensitive areas like around the eyes or right near the lips etc..)

3.  Drink 8-10 glasses of water a day and be sure to include 100% fruit juices with antioxidants to your diet.

4. Apply vitamin E to the effected area and taking Vitamin E supplement internally
