Easy Granola Bars

We were needing a snack to hold us over until the next meal and I always wanted to come up with a recipe that would work good for our family for Granola Bars. So I did some revising and this one was  a winner!

Here is our new recipe!

Granola Bars:

Ingredient List:
1 cup honey
1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla or imitation vanilla
1 egg
1 cup flour (whatever kind you may have)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt or 1/2 if you like more (gotta have my sea salt)
4 cup quick cooking rolled oats
(anything else that you may have on hand that is granola like ie. nuts, seeds, berries or like us a half cup of peanut butter.
Cream together the wet ingredients then slowly add to your mixed the dry ingredients.  Press the mixture into a large glass casserole and bake on 400 degrees for about 12 minutes or until a lightly browned on top.
