Vein Health!

Hello friends! Many people suffer from varicose veins, hemorrhoids, and vein thrombosis etc. Today I will take you through some of the causes of these problems and suggest some supplements to aid healing as well as some practical advice.

Constipation, sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time, lack of leg exercise, and age can contribute. As our bodies age, if you are a woman, your body's elasticity can greatly be rearranged from pregnancy and hormonal changes. Weight gain in the hips and waist can also be added to the list with the extra pressure that is on your veins. Loosing weight should be considered especially if your condition is painful.

A great exercise especially for your legs is to get up on your tippy toes several times a day to strengthen your calf muscles. Another technique is to rub your legs toward your heart. In fact anytime you massage it should be toward the heart.

Adding more garlic, ginger and onions will help to break down the fibrin surrounding the varicose veins. There is a supplement for that as well called Bromelain.  Natures Sunshine testimonials indicate that Butcher's Broom, vitamin E and Varigon should be taken. If you experience Hemorrhoids the recommendation is to apply a proper lubricant to the capsule and place where it is needed. If you have hypertension don't take the butchers broom. I pray that you will soon be healthier and more pain free! God Bless!

Sciatica!

Sciatica has been an interest of mine for a long while so I have delved deeper into gaining knowledge about it. Sciatica as described in the Wikipedia Encyclopedia, " is a set of symptoms including pain that may be caused by general compression and/or irritation of one of five nerve roots that give rise to the sciatic nerve, or by compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve itself. The pain is felt in the lower back, buttock, and/or various parts of the leg and foot. In addition to pain, which is sometimes severe, there may be numbness, muscular weakness, pins and needles or tingling and difficulty in moving or controlling the leg. Typically, the symptoms are only felt on one side of the body.
Although sciatica is a relatively common form of low back pain and leg pain, the true meaning of the term is often misunderstood. Sciatica is a set of symptoms rather than a diagnosis for what is irritating the root of the nerve, causing the pain. This point is important, because treatment for sciatica or sciatic symptoms will often be different, depending upon the underlying cause of the symptoms."
Here are some recipies and suggestions from those who have suffered from sciatica and had relief of pain:
Recipe #1
If you have the oils it work like a charm..
5 drops Helichrysum
4 droops Rosemary
4 drops Sandalwood
2 drops Peppermint
1 TBS. CARRIER OIL
APPLY TO LOWERE SPINE, HEEL AND INSIDE ANKLE TO KNEE , THEN RIGHT UNDER THE PAINFUL HIP.

Recipe #2 (less costly if you don't have the oils already)

> I use Everflex (2 in the morn. & 2 at night) and massage area with
> Lavender first, then Lobelia Essence, Tei Fu Oil and Capsicum, in that order.
>
> When you want something to penetrate deep, relax the
> area first!!

Recipe #3

#1 chiropractic care ASAP!
#2 have a client that had sciatica problems (letter carrier) and the
sciatica homeopathic helped but did not totally relieve it. He started
doing 2 t. Silver Shield 2x/day and immediately felt improvement after just
24 hours.
#3 the homeopathic needs to be taken frequently --- under the tongue, and
applied to the area where the pain is felt (with a spritzer bottle)
#4 spray the are with Nature¹s Fresh after each application of the
homeopathic.

Recipe #4

sciatica homeopathic
massage therapy / reflexology
stretching the piriformis muscle
applying capsicum, lobelia & tei fu oil all over lower back, spine and hips (across buttock too)
water
epsom salt soak (1-2 cups per bath)

many times sciatica comes from tight muscles in hip, all these things help this and maybe also consider anti-inflammatories like PLSII, IF Relief, etc.

I hope these things are a help to you and yours.

I no longer sell these fine products but you can find most of them at Natures Sunshine or other fine health food stores.

Raynauds, Scleroderma, and Lupus!

Raynauds is a condition where hands and feet loose their circulation and fluctuate from feelings of tingling to severe pain. Scleroderma is sometimes related to Raynauds and is a condition where hands and face (if non-severe) develop hardening. The severe cases involve hardening all over the body including the heart and can result in death. These can also be had in conjunction to Lupus an autoimmune disease also resulting in severe pain. Auto immune diseases are diseases where the immune system attacks itself.
I was very curious as to what Natures Sunshine had to offer people with these kinds of conditions and what kind of activities could aggravate these. So I sat down and did some heavy reading and found some supplements that gave great testimonies. I also discovered that smoking constricts the blood vessels, drinking causes the extremities to get cold, and caffeine causes the blood vessels to constrict.

Here are the top supplements that I have found for there cases.

Ginko/Hawthorn (heart and circulation)
Vari gone (vein health)
Mega Chel (circulatory and glandular)
Flax seed oil (essential fatty acids)
Vitamin E (moisture)
Liver Cleanse (for better circulation)
Ginko Biloba (increases circulation)
Capsicum (for circulation)
Yucca (moisture)
Collodial Minerals
Magnesium (muscle spasms)
Butchers Broom (circulation)
Olive Leaf (great for pain associated with Lupus)
Gotu kola (circulation)
Irish Moss Lotion (moisture loss)

These are some of the helpful herbs and supplements to build up your circulatory system and renew the moisture loss. Coordinate these supplements with emotional stress relievers. Don't forget to include Christ in everything you do. Get your advise from the Bible and trusted Christian friends. Build your faith daily with prayer and meditation on God's Holy Word!

"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who walked not after the flesh but after the spirit." If you are having problems sticking to a healthy life style remember its what God would have you to do! Do it for Him first and then for you. He wants the very best for you. Mind, Body and Soul!

I sell these products from Natures Sunshine when you click on this link a small portion of the sell goes to this large family. Thanks.

Sunburns, Ticks and Mosquitos

Summer is nearly here and already people are asking me about bug spray. Ive been collecting some great bug spray recipes to share with my readers and now they are in. But first, I would like to share a sunburn solution for you to try.
Sunburn Soother
2 oz bottle
1 oz purified water
1 oz Aloe Vera Gel
8 drops Lavender AOC
8 drops Peppermint essential oil
Combine all together and apply generously to sunburned areas.

*Silver Shield Gel also works well for Sunburn!

Mosquito Repellent
2 oz spritz bottle
1 tbsp NSP concentrate
6 drops lavender AOC
6 drops peppermint essential oil
May also add drops geranium and/or 4 drops thyme linalol.
Spritz on generously before and during outdoor activities

Spider Repellent/Bug Repellent

Put about 4 drops of Tea Tree Oil in water in a spray bottle and spray the air/floor vents, around the pipes under the sinks and the door thresholds.
Grasshopper Killer
Heard a new pesticide remedy for bugs on your plants yesterday. Put a clove of garlic and jalapeno peppers in your blender then mix with a gallon of water and spray on plants.

On The Skin!
For your skin use Tei Fu Lotion. Works great. For a spray, either put Tei Fu Oil in a spray bottle of water, shaking regularly while you spray. Can also use Rue, Eucalyptus, and Citronella Oils - a little of each in a quart spray bottle of water. Shake while you use. A couple drops of Tei Fu Oils is great against those ants.

Internally:
Garlic and Balanced B-Complex

Find these and many other great ingredients at www.naturessunshine.com I do not sell these products anymore but they are still a great product.
